Welcome To The Mathia Clan

This blog is a pregnancy and beyond. I'm a new mother of a baby girl named Autumn. I have been a vlogger for some time now and wanted to try my hand at blogging. Here's a little background on me. I am the third child out of six children. My parents adopted all six of us kids through foster care. I was adopted at age two the day after 9/11. We thought I might not be able to be adopted because of this but, the adoption went through anyways. At the age of 13 I was diagnosed with high functioning autism. This diagnosis wasn't hurtful for me because when I heard them tell me that, everything made sense. There was a reason why making friends was so hard, why I couldn't understand people, why learning was hard. With this diagnosis I could finally get the help I needed and work on trying different things to make my life easier. I met my husband at the age of 16 at youth group. We started dating not too long after meeting. Turns out he was adopted as well as being homeschooled just like me! We're even a couple months apart in age. We got married at the age of 19. Our wedding theme was beauty and the beast because it was my favorite movie and thing of all time(With autism I like kids movies and toys) He even proposed to me with an enchanted rose he made me. Nine months into our marriage we found out we were pregnant. Nine months after finding out we were pregnant we had our beautiful Daughter Autumn. She's the first grandbaby on both sides. That's a little bit of what our life has been like so far. With this blog I'll go even more in depth on certain subjects and give advice on what is or was like for us.
